About VideoWit

VideoWit makes simple, free video tools: convert video to GIF, extract MP3, compress video and turn audio into a video.

How the tools work

Each tool runs ffmpeg, compiled to WebAssembly, inside your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. The first time you use a tool, your browser downloads the ffmpeg engine (about 32 MB); after that it is cached.
